Volunteering in the election

Want to volunteer in the election?

All political parties rely on volunteers to promote candidates and ideas, and win support where it counts—at the ballot box on election day. PSAC BC encourages members to take part in the democratic process and get involved in the election. Note that changes to the PSEA as a result of the Public Service Modernization Act have now created new restrictions on all public service workers, you can read more here.

There are a range of activities that you can choose from, like getting out the vote on election day, doing a door-to-door canvas, installing lawn signs, fundraising, or working the phones to help get your candidate elected Taking an active part in the election process can be an important learning experience that can help you build new skills that you can use as a union activist.

To find out how to contact a candidate for the party of your choice, choose one of the links below to the main parties running here in B.C.
